Frisco
Surrounded by the Arapahoe National Forest and bordered by the shores of Lake Dillon, Frisco is the perfect setting for a Summit County adventure. Few quaint mountain towns also offer the scenic beauty and water recreation, such as kayaking, sailing and canoeing, that Lake Dillon provides. Its central location between Summit County and Eagle County ski areas, the hub of the free Summit Stage transit service and a world-class bike path system make Frisco a natural choice for year-round living. Additionally, boutiques, restaurants, and bars along Frisco's two retail corridors - Main Street and Summit Boulevard – provide endless options for dining, entertainment and shopping.
Frisco's amenities including parks, schools, playgrounds, libraries, a historic park with 11 buildings from the original town of Dillon, marina, Nordic Skiing Center, health-care facilities and shopping are all within easy access, often by foot. Events like Frisco's Fantastic Fourth of July, Frisco Gold Rush ski race and the Colorado Barbecue Challenge combine beautiful mountain scenery, small-town atmosphere and old fashioned good times for family enjoyment.

Elevation: Main Street in Frisco rests at 9,097 feet above sea level.
Population: The town of Frisco is home to 2,697 year round residents and an additional 4,209 second home owners.
Main Street: Frisco's motto is 'Main Street to the Rockies', which is very fitting since Frisco is located in the center of Summit County minutes from Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone. The quaint mountain town’s Main Street features unique small shops and boutiques alongside historic buildings and small town parks.
Frisco Peninsula: Heading south on Highway 9 toward Breckenridge, you'll find the Peninsula Recreation Area. The Peninsula contains: the Frisco Adventure Park and Day Lodge, the Frisco Nordic Center, Two Below Zero dinner sleigh rides, Peak One Disc Golf Course, Picnic Facilities, Skateboard Park, Campgrounds and an Extensive Trail system.
Signature Events: As the 'Main Street of the Rockies' Frisco hosts many spectacular events year round. During winter the Wassail Days, a weeklong celebration of Wassail (Ol English apple cider), and Gold Rush, a weekend connecting the mining history of the past with the Nordic traditions of the present, are two of the most popular events. In summer you'll find Main Street packed with people during the annual Colorado BBQ Challenge, the 4th of July celebration and the Autumn Spectacular which features Lumberjack shows, wood carving demonstrations, a bug petting zoo, art show, live music and just about everything else you can imagine.
Medical Facilities: Frisco is home to the St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, Summit County's primary healthcare resource since 1978. The Medical Center consists of medical, surgical, pediatric, maternity and special care units. As well as imaging services (x-ray, CT scans, mammography, ultrasound and MRI), laboratory and pharmacy services and is home to the Mountain Division of Colorado's flight for life. Adjacent to the medical center you'll find the Peak One Surgery Center, a 10,000 square foot facility that allows patients easy accessibility to same day surgery procedures.
